My background is in industry and scientific journalism, particularly within the food technology & nutrition space. Nearly 20 years of experience in writing, editing and interviewing within this field, has given me strong expertise in formulation, regulation, product design, and packaging, as well as broad experience in speaking at conferences and webinars.

This experience and knowledge provide me with the perfect background to support food & nutrition suppliers in delivering inspirational editorial content that tells their story and carries their message home. I also support industry titles in hard-hitting editorial that demonstrates the innovative character of this ever-evolving industry.

My roles have included sourcing, writing and editing content concerning companies and NPD in the food and beverage, nutrition and packaging industries. This involved overseeing the quality of the editorial team and advising on content at both an online and offline (print) level. It also meant contributing to webinars and podcasts with leading companies in the sector, as well as covering trade shows around the globe.

Within my marketing communications role, I have worked directly with clients on developing content strategies. I have advised them on style, voice and positioning, as well as on creating comprehensive content calendars. My specialty has been on editorial creation, where I have used research and interviewing to get to the essence of their story.

I founded Perspective Communications to leverage this blend of editorial and communications experience to offer clients one on one writing and marketing communications consultancy.
